Sisters by the Sea by Wanda Brunstetter, Jean Brunstetter...

I always enjoy books by Wanda Brunstetter! This compilation of stories written by her and her family are great! Of course I love the setting of the beach (my favorite place in the world)! Here's my review: I really enjoyed reading these stories! Each one is unique in that they tell a different sisters experience in Florida. I love the setting of the beach! It's relaxing and picturesque! All of the sisters are genuine and relatable. They each are trying to determine their futures. I love the faith aspect that's throughout the books! It's very encouraging! I was provided a copy of the book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own Let me know if you read it! Jeanette

Accepted by Paula Peckham

This is the first book I've read by Paula Peckham and it won't be the last! She's an exceptional writer! Here's my review: I really enjoyed reading this book! I love the setting of Texas in 1864! I also enjoyed the imagery regarding Africa! Paula Peckham brought the country of Nigeria to life!! The book opens with a quandary. Jonathan has a mishap with an order and realizes that he might need help. Enter Quenby! She's feeling a little lost. She'd had a purpose in Africa. There's definitely some sparks between Jonathan and Quenby! I enjoyed how their relationship progressed! I also liked that Quenby rescued animals! An important issue is brought up. Slavery. As Quenby becomes involved with a huge secret, her faith becomes stronger! There's some intense moments, and a good friend is lost. The reminder that God knows best is clearly presented! All in all, this is an interesting book! I am definitely going to purchase the other books by Paula Peckham!

To Spark a Match by Jen Turano

I always enjoy books by Jen Turano and this was fantastic! Here's my review: Jen Turano pens another great novel! Not only is it full of quirky humor, but there is some intrigue that leads to interesting events. The characters are fabulous! I love Adelaide! She's quirky, walks to her own beat, and is inquisitive! Even though she suffers through a series of mishaps, she keeps putting herself out in society. Gideon is swoon worthy! He's a protector, humble and courageous! The secondary characters are written just as brilliantly! Leopold and Vernon are my favorites! They are always ready for action! I like the theme of staying true to yourself. Adelaide never faltered from her dreams and goals. She is tenacious but in a good way! All in all, a definite must-read! I look forward to reading more of this series! I was provided a copy of the book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was literally laughing so hard at the beginning of this book! The Secrets Beneath by Kimberly Woodhouse

Hi all! I requested a copy of "The Secrets Beneath" from NetGalley and boy was I happy that I did! This is a truly wonderful book! Here's my review: Wow! Once again, Kimberly Woodhouse pens a story full of creativity! There's so much going on: mystery, intrigue, murder, multiple personalities, missing people, and love! I thought this was just a book about a female paleontologist, and boy, was I surprised! The characters are relatable! Anna drove me a little crazy with her indecisiveness, but the relationship with her father made her likeable! Joshua is awesome, in my opinion. He's committed to his family, and he looks out for everyone. He's also a hard worker, and he sees things others overlook. Julian- wow. I won't add spoilers, but he's someone who's been hurt in the past and deals with his pain in the best way he can. I liked learning about paleontology; it's always been interesting to me. I enjoyed the excerpts from Earl Douglas. They c
