The Foxhole Victory Tour by Amy Green

Here's my review! Wow! I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could! When I reached the end of the book, I just wanted it to keep going! I laughed, and I cried. I think my heart even stopped a few times! The characters are relatable, and each one touched my heart. I became deeply invested in their lives. The way that the group became a family was heartwarming. I especially enjoyed visiting the various places described in the book! My favorite is Casablanca, Morocco! The imagery brought the city to life. It's books like these that make me think and desire to learn more! I was provided a copy of the book by Bethany House through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Up from Dust by Heather Kaufman

Here's another book that I've done a launch for! Such a fabulous book! Here's my review: An extraordinary book that offers the background of Martha, Lazarus, and Mary. Wow! The story of these siblings has always fascinated me, and Heather Kaufman brings Biblical history to life! The story is unique and interesting. I love Martha. I enjoyed the way she was portrayed in this book. The elder sister, competent, hardworking, longing for love. I liked the interaction between the siblings. There's love, some jealousy, and an inclusiveness in their relationship. The glimpses of Jesus and his ministry are wonderful! I especially liked the part where Mary anoints his head and feet with perfume. It's a holy moment that is imprinted on my heart. Another favorite part was the time when Lazarus rose from the dead. Such a celebratory time! This book awakened me to want to not only read scripture but to let it touch my heart. Heather Kaufman is a new author to me, but she is...

Trust the Stars by Tricia Goyer

Hey all! Here's the latest book I've read for a launch team! I think the cover is just beautiful! Here's my review: Wow! This is an exceptional book! I was immediately drawn in by Alessandra's story. I loved the flashbacks to 1943, and then how the author tied them into the present day was amazing! As the story progressed, my heart became more and more invested in the story. All of the characters are wonderful! Louis is my favorite! He's loyal, faithful, and a man longing to be loved for his true self. Olivia lives her life on purpose. She puts her everything into her job and those she works for. Alessandra is inspiring. She is put in a very difficult situation, and she relies on her faith to make it through each day. Favorite quote: "After all, it's often in the darkest skies that we see the brightest stars." This story reminded me that everyone needs to know the hope that can be found in Jesus. He's for the rich, the poor, the fatherless.....

Hi all! This book is amazing! Tracie Peterson is one of my favorite authors- I try to read all of her books! Here's my review: What an amazing book! Tracie Peterson once again crafts a story so engaging that I could hardly put it down! There's mystery, intrigue, and a love story! There is also a difficult subject addressed: racism. I absolutely loved how Tracie incorporated scripture and grace to the topic of racism. The characters are relatable and genuine! I loved the continuation of Pearl and Otis' stories! I also enjoyed reading about the rest of the Camera Girls' lives. May absolutely blew me away! She is full of grace and beauty. She loves fully, and she believes in the true goodness of people. Lee is a Godly man! He's strong, loving, and committed to his job and his family. The theme of forgiveness is prevalent throughout the book. May's mother struggles with this, and so do Lee's parents. Lee and May gently guide their parents towards God and th...

Accepted by Paula Peckham

This is the first book I've read by Paula Peckham and it won't be the last! She's an exceptional writer! Here's my review: I really enjoyed reading this book! I love the setting of Texas in 1864! I also enjoyed the imagery regarding Africa! Paula Peckham brought the country of Nigeria to life!! The book opens with a quandary. Jonathan has a mishap with an order and realizes that he might need help. Enter Quenby! She's feeling a little lost. She'd had a purpose in Africa. There's definitely some sparks between Jonathan and Quenby! I enjoyed how their relationship progressed! I also liked that Quenby rescued animals! An important issue is brought up. Slavery. As Quenby becomes involved with a huge secret, her faith becomes stronger! There's some intense moments, and a good friend is lost. The reminder that God knows best is clearly presented! All in all, this is an interesting book! I am definitely going to purchase the other books by Paula Peckham!...
