A snowy day

As I'm writing this, the snow is falling in New York. Just yesterday it was a balmy 58 degrees and I was hoping for spring but, nature took its own path once again.

New things over the winter- We have 2 new pets!  A new hamster named Pebbles and a new baby rabbit named Binkey!

I also became the mother of a teenager! Where does the time go? It seems like only yesterday, my daughter was just born and now she's 13.
Me, my youngest (whose 11), and my teenager!

I did try quite a few new recipes but I'm only posting on one this time. Super easy chicken quesadillas! By: writtenreality.com. These were super delicious and easy! I did substitute cooking spray for butter but they came out so crispy; everyone was raving!

Have a great rest of the week!

Go See America by Matt Tory

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!

Until We All Share Joy by Heather Wood

This is a wonderful novella! I was totally captivated by the story in its entirety. The characters are relatable and easy to like. Titan is my favorite! His compassion and gentleman-like ways are endearing. He grows so much during the book and he also helps others grow. Grandfather Gates is wonderful! He appears gruff and grouchy but he has a heart of gold. This book helped me to remember how blessed I am to have a family that loves me and to cherish every moment with them. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series!
