Muffins

Hi there! The other day I was watching Seinfeld and it was the one about the muffin tops. This got me thinking of muffins of course! I have a favorite book that I use for baked goods. It's called, "Baking without eggs."







When my daughter was little, she was allergic to eggs which prompted the buying of this book- all of 15 years ago. You can see from the picture that it is used quite a bit. I love to bake and I still use these recipes even though my daughter is no longer allergic to eggs.

My favorite is a recipe called- "Good Morning Muffins." They are the best muffins in my opinion! They have an almost apple pie flavor to them.

Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!

The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
