Books I'm currently reading

I don't know if I have shared this but I love to read books. Mostly Christian fiction but I have been branching out into historical fiction too. I'm currently reading 4 books: "Where the Road Bends" by Rachel Fordham "The Language of Sycamores" by Lisa Wingate "This Wandering Heart" by Janine Rosche "The Finding of Miss Fairfield" by Grace Hitchcock I have been selected to be a reviewer of "The Finding of Miss Fairfield! This is so exciting! I love to read books and do reviews on them. This is my first time being selected by Grace Hitchcock. I have done many previous reviews for authors like Jocelyn Green and Regina Jennings. So far this year I have read 175 books and my goal is 200 before years end! I do reviews on all the books I read so you can look them up on Goodreads.com- Jeanette Durkin What kind of books do you read? Let me know!

Go See America by Matt Tory

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!

Let us March On by Shara Moon

Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!
