Hope Like Wildflowers by Pepper Basham

I always enjoy a book written by Pepper Basham! She's such a creative writer! Here's my review: Oh my word! This book is fantastic! I was immediately hooked from the very first sentences! It's a story of forbidden love, friendship, brokenness, second chances, and redemption! The characters are written brilliantly! I want to be Kizzie's friend! She's so amazing! Despite being heartbroken time after time, she still maintains hope and a giving heart. Her transformation to becoming a new person in Christ is inspiring! The Chappell family welcomes Kizzie with open, caring, and compassionate arms. Noah is my favorite! Absolutely swoon worthy! He genuinely cares for others. He'll give the shirt off his back to anyone who asks. My favorite part of the story is the sweet love story! It's not your typical relationship because of many factors, but it was meant to be. The other great parts, in my opinion, are those dealing with faith in God. I felt encouraged and uplifted by the many scriptures throughout the book. Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
