Just for the Summer by Melody Carlson

Such a great book! Here's my review: I love everything about this book! I love the settings, the characters, and the plot! The fishing lodge brought back many good childhood memories to mind. Ginny is someone I'd like to emulate! She's a hard worker, organized, caring, compassionate, and a great listener. Ben is amazing! He's accomplished, and more importantly, he knows how to relax. My two absolute favorites are Jack and Margie. They both seem like crusty old coots, but their wonderful personalities shine bright. Jacqueline kind of annoyed me, but she really changed, and I grew to like her. Melody Carlson is an exceptional author! She's versatile and creative! I look forward to reading many more books by her!

FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
