My Sugar in Sugar Land by Dee Osah

This is a new author to me. I won a book via LibraryThing. Here's my review: I enjoyed reading this book! It has rich cultural themes and a fair amount of drama! The love story reminded me of my own- bad boy, good girl. There's a lot of talk about faith and prayer. I really connected with Ibelema. She has a dream and a vision. She's talented, smart, and involved in her church. Silas kind of rubbed me the wrong way, but then he changed! It's amazing what love can do! Since I'm a foodie, I found all of the food mentioned intriguing! I think I'll have to head to Houston! I look forward to reading the next book by these authors! I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
