The Reluctant Disciple by Robin Pou

I won this book through a Goodreads giveaway! It's a book that I usually wouldn't read but I'm glad I did! Here's my review: An interesting and inspiring book! This book was not what I expected. It turned out to be so much more! Peter is on the cusp of achieving the next level in his career. A horrible accident changes his entire perspective on his life and his faith. Jim and Mary are people I'd like to emulate. They are kind, compassionate and not ashamed of their faith. Their loving care helps Peter open his heart to forgiveness. This book reminds us that God always has a plan, we just have to trust him! Special thanks to Goodreads for providing a giveaway for this book!

The Foxhole Victory Tour by Amy Green

Here's my review! Wow! I would give this book more than 5 stars if I could! When I reached the end of the book, I just wanted it to keep going! I laughed, and I cried. I think my heart even stopped a few times! The characters are relatable, and each one touched my heart. I became deeply invested in their lives. The way that the group became a family was heartwarming. I especially enjoyed visiting the various places described in the book! My favorite is Casablanca, Morocco! The imagery brought the city to life. It's books like these that make me think and desire to learn more! I was provided a copy of the book by Bethany House through Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
