The Song of Sourwood Mountain by Ann Gabhart

When this book came out I knew that I was going to love it! The beautiful cover and the description intrigued me. I'm so glad that I read it! Here's my review: Wow! Another fantastic book by Ann Gabhart! It's set in Sourwood, Kentucky, a small community in the mountains. This book pulled on my heartstrings in many ways. There are many difficulties to overcome. Death, superstitions, and loss are part of life. Each of the main characters had special and unique qualities. Gordon, with his passion to establish a church and school in the mountains. Mira with her compassionate heart and patience. Ada June, with her tender heart that longs for family and is loyal to those she trusts. The love story is special. Gordon knows his hearts desire, but Mira is cautious. As she learns to put her faith in the Lord, her heart opens to Gordon. Gordon and Mira are great examples of how the Bible reminds us to care for the widows and orphans. They truly are the hands and feet of Jesus.

Go See America by Matt Tory

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!

Let us March On by Shara Moon

Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!
