Into the Sunset by Mary Connealy

Mary Connealy always delivers an amazing book! Here's my review: What an amazing conclusion to "A Western Light " series! I recommend reading the other books first, but Mary Connealy's exceptional writing provides a lot of background. So much happens in this book! There's revenge, murder, kidnapping, and more. There's also a few sweet love stories! Some of the characters in this book are familiar, and some are new. Ginny absolutely amazes me. Her strength in horrible circumstances is commendable. Dakota is a hunk! He's also a protector, compassionate, and caring. Maeve acted like a spoiled child in the beginning, but she grew into a dependable and caring woman. Judge Nolte is my favorite! She's a no-nonsense, dependable, and knowledgeable woman. I was extremely happy when the "bad" guys got what they deserved. It did make me sad that Thaddeus and Ezra didn't have a change of heart. Faith in God is prevalent throughout the book. Many of the characters realized their need for God, his protection, and his faithfulness. The Higher Desire Wife by J Parker

There's a lack of Christian books available to review on Library Thing so this is one that I chose to win. It's pretty explicit in some areas, some of it actually made me blush. Here's my review: I found this book to be interesting and informative! This book outlines helpful information for women whose sexual drive is higher than their husbands. The author provides hope, advice, and even scriptures to help women as they walk this path. I found a lot of wisdom and practical ways to apply this information in my own life. Until We All Share Joy by Heather Wood

This is a wonderful novella! I was totally captivated by the story in its entirety. The characters are relatable and easy to like. Titan is my favorite! His compassion and gentleman-like ways are endearing. He grows so much during the book and he also helps others grow. Grandfather Gates is wonderful! He appears gruff and grouchy but he has a heart of gold. This book helped me to remember how blessed I am to have a family that loves me and to cherish every moment with them. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series!

Becoming Madam Secretary by Stephanie Dray

I really enjoyed this book! It inspired me to research this time period and the people who shaped history then! Here's my review: This is an intriguing and interesting book! Historical fiction is my favorite genre, and this book is captivating. I had never heard of Frances Perkins before. I will definitely be researching her life and the ways that she attributed to politics. She was an amazing woman who sacrificed a lot to help her country.
