A Promise Kept by Robin Lee Hatcher

Here's my review: I think this is my favorite book by Robin Lee Hatcher so far! The themes of forgiveness and second chances is prevalent throughout the book. It also highlights faith in God and listening to His voice. The main characters really touched my heart. Allison is heart broken and struggling with the fact that her life didn't turn out how she thought it would. As she makes her new home in her Aunt Emma's house healing comes in an interesting package. Her aunt had left behind journals that are very relevant to Allison's situation. Emma's story was filled with sadness but also with hope. Her heart was broken but as she starts to trusts in God more, the pieces of her life fit back together again. I really love it when authors are transparent about their real life struggles. In the author's note, Robin shares how she dealt with similar issues in her own marriage. She gives glory to God for a second chance in her marriage! I especially love the verses in Psalm 118. "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For his loving-kindness is everlasting!" https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/5219785436

Go See America by Matt Tory

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!

Until We All Share Joy by Heather Wood

This is a wonderful novella! I was totally captivated by the story in its entirety. The characters are relatable and easy to like. Titan is my favorite! His compassion and gentleman-like ways are endearing. He grows so much during the book and he also helps others grow. Grandfather Gates is wonderful! He appears gruff and grouchy but he has a heart of gold. This book helped me to remember how blessed I am to have a family that loves me and to cherish every moment with them. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in the series!
