A Promise Kept by Robin Lee Hatcher

Here's my review: I think this is my favorite book by Robin Lee Hatcher so far! The themes of forgiveness and second chances is prevalent throughout the book. It also highlights faith in God and listening to His voice. The main characters really touched my heart. Allison is heart broken and struggling with the fact that her life didn't turn out how she thought it would. As she makes her new home in her Aunt Emma's house healing comes in an interesting package. Her aunt had left behind journals that are very relevant to Allison's situation. Emma's story was filled with sadness but also with hope. Her heart was broken but as she starts to trusts in God more, the pieces of her life fit back together again. I really love it when authors are transparent about their real life struggles. In the author's note, Robin shares how she dealt with similar issues in her own marriage. She gives glory to God for a second chance in her marriage! I especially love the verses in Psalm 118. Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
