*** Do not read this book if you are scared about demonic possession. Here's my review: This book drew me in, but it was also a little heavy at times. I love the parts about Jesus and his ministry, especially how he healed people both physically and mentally! The parts that I didn't particularly like were the parts about demonic possession. Yes, I know it's real, and yes, it's in the Bible, but it did make me uncomfortable. I almost didn't finish the book, but I'm glad that I did. Mary is released from a prison in her mind, and she becomes an important follower of Jesus. The author's note is worth reading. It reminds us that this book is Biblical fiction, so the story is not to be taken literally. That said, Jill Eileen Smith is a gifted writer, and I look forward to reading her next novel! *** Trigger warning - numerous mentions of demonic possession, involving those possessed being hurt and hurting others.

Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
