Love's Gift by Penelope Marzec

Here's my review: I really enjoyed this book! Amaranth's story drew me in. Amaranth has had a difficult life. She's an orphan, and many people judge her for being of Chinese heritage. By God's grace, she finds herself employed by Mrs. Tildon. Mrs. Tildon is someone that I'd like to emulate. She's kind, gracious, forgiving, and determined. I love her enthusiasm for the suffrage movement. I liked that Amaranth's faith in God is strong! She often quotes scriptures and sings hymns to calm herself. Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. The Summer of You and Me by Denise Hunter

I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
