Storm Warning by Elizabeth Goddard

Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! I was literally holding my breath sometimes because the suspense was "killing" me. There's a mystery, several murder attempts, kidnapping, and betrayal. Cedar Trails Lodge is both peaceful and tumultuous. The ocean is calm one day and then fierce storms can turn things deadly. The cast of characters is amazing! I really liked Remi a lot. She's a leader, intelligent, loyal and compassionate. Hawk is wonderful! He's a protector. He's also smart and capable. It's interesting how Remi and Hawk compliment each other: they both have a unique set of skills and when they work together they can accomplish a lot. I'm so glad that Cole made better choices in the end. His love for his brother and country are commendable. I really liked the part that described the photographs taken of the breakers crashing against the rocky outcroppings and sea stacks. I would love to see the ones that depicted faces in the waves: a monster with it's mouth open wide and a ghost ship. I love the beach and I hope to take pictures like that someday. Elizabeth Goddard is an excellent author! I have read almost all of her books. Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. I don't like giving spoilers because I believe that everyone should read and judge a book for themself. This book is worth the time, believe me! Here's my review: Oh wow! This book is amazing! There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
