Fire Mountain by Dana Mentink

I love it when I win a book from LibraryThing! This book is fantastic! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book filled with suspense and intrigue! The setting is Mount Ember, a volcano in the throes of explosion. Lives are lost, relationships are formed and heroes emerge. Kit is AMAZING! She's determined, strong and smart. Although she wrestles with her past, she is compassionate and protective. Cullen is also AMAZING! He's a protector, brave and strong. His past also haunts him but Kit and Tot soften his heart! Tater Tot is adorable! She's blessed to have Kit and Cullen as her rescuers. One issue that's brought up is sex trafficking. I'll admit that I was happy when Simon and Nico got what they deserved. Thank God for police officers, detectives, and other workers who help those caught up in trafficking. I won a complimentary copy of this book from LibraryThing via Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Go See America by Matt Tory

Absolutely splendid! Wow! I love this book so much! Here's my review: This is a fantastic book! It's divided into 7 regions of the USA. I enjoyed reading and learning about every place that was included. Some of them I have been to and the rest are on my bucket list. The pictures are extraordinary! They made me want to hop on a plane and go on an adventure. I hope the author writes more books like these. I won a complimentary copy of the book from LibraryThing. Let us March On by Shara Moon

Here's my review: This book was informative and interesting! I love it when authors take a piece of history and create an amazing fictional story. FDR is one of the presidents that I admire and this book showcased his leadership abilities and his dedication to the United States of America. Lizzie is an exceptional woman! She's an advocate, a confidant, and extremely loyal. She stayed with FDR literally until the end. We need more people in the world like Lizzie!

There are so many twists and turns. I thought I had it figured out and then it turns out that I didn't!! I enjoyed everything about this book. The setting of a picturesque small beach town is perfect! The cast of characters are relatable and easy to like. The little surprises that popped out here and there kept me interested and involved!!
